hi im lux (he/they/it) and im very normal about camerawork, color grading, & editing.

i've been learning how to process gifs for four years now; it is my prefered format to work in! ive also been writing fanfiction for multiple decades, so i would love the chance to bring ur characters to life as accurately as possible

Camera Motions

- "Simple" is defined as being one or two movement types (separate or combined), e.g., a file which pans left and then pans back, or a file which moves backwards while zooming in, etc.- "Complex" is anything more, either chaining three or more movement types or being a longer, cohesive tracking/flying motion.

→ You recieve: one (1) .XCP file (playable in Brio) tailored to your character with as much movement or variety as you desire. Limit 30 seconds active runtime per file (not including fade outs.)- One .XCP file is defined as anything that could occur in a single zone OR that follows a single specific character animation path within the allotted time.I make motions for any pre-existing animation, or I can mimic cutscenes.I encourage you to have reference material (such as existing cutscenes in quests OR clips from movies, video games, tv shows) showing the type of movement you want. For example, you are allowed to say "please make something similar to this movement that happens at 3:46 in this trailer."

Optionally, you may ask for the Blender saves as well, and I will include them in the final files, no charge.Please be aware shadows flickering upon camera movement is a byproduct of the engine and cannot be worked around.I will not choreograph cameras for ported dance animations - it is not within my skill set at this time.These files are for you to render video with, and I do not offer renderings at this time.

I can offer gifs for any occasion, including (but not limited to): carrds, fanfiction embeds, profile banners, social media posts, character description boxes, forum signatures, just to keep personally, etc.When requesting, you may ask for specific animations/scenes/etc or simply provide me with character lore and allow me to have fun & come up with something.- Expect gif runtimes to max out at 2 to 5 seconds. Gifs are rendered at 24 fps.Shorter gifs can have higher quality visuals, OR smaller gifs (resolution wise) can have longer run times.Gifs can be delivered any length and resolution you desire, however I will aim for 10MB~. It is not ideal to have a gif over 15MB due to the load time, nor will some websites permit you to upload larger than that. All example gifs depicted on this page are <10mb.If the intended usage or dimensions aren't specified (or the gif is for more general use), I will try for the best quality possible within 10MB.The end goal is to have the gif sized at the exact scale (or at least, aspect ratio) it will be displayed at - this ensures the best quality image, as image quality may get destroyed upon being scaled down or scaled up. Websites that host or allow you to upload & display an image directly, such as Carrd, do not suffer as much from this.

To put gifs in places that have HTML text editors, but don't host images (such as RPhub or Ao3), use image hosting sites such as Squidge, where you would then link back to the gif in the text.
